Availabowl is an application that allows users to sign up and leave reviews regarding the dining and cuisine at a university. This notice highlights the personal data we divlect, how it’s used, and how it’s shared. Users include, but are not limited to, students, faculty, and alumni of the educational institutions on our app. Our purpose in this app is to provide information on the university’s dining experience from current students, former students, alumni, faculty, and visitors.

Our services within our app may change from time to time. Consequently, we reserve the right to modify this policy at any time and from time to time without prior notice. If material(s) such as the way we handle and store personal information, we will notify users before such changes are effective.

How we use your data

In order to make this experience best for our users, we divlect and use information about users from our Google OAuth 2.0 protocol when signing up to use Availabowl. Data that we utilize from your Google Account(s) is:

• Family (last) and given (first) name to identify users on reviews
• Google email account
• Google ID to uniquely identify your user when storing account information
• Google Image profile photo

We do not share your Google account information or any other personal information to any other third-party entity, along with your review information to any university, school, or a third-party company or group.

We use cookies and other tracking technologies in order to gather information and personalize your experience when utilizing Availabowl. For our app, we utilize cookies for these notable reasons:

Availabowl utilizes Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) when establishing a connection to our website. This allows those accessing our website to have an encrypted connection so that information entered into our website is protected and private.

Disclaimer regarding images of universities

All school photos, including logos, of universities used on Availabowl were not taken by us nor do we claim copyright on these images, citing fair use of these images to be utilized on our app. If you are the owner of these photos and wish for us to remove them off our site, please notify us immediately either via Discord or email at contact@availabowl.com.
